automatically open and I am taken to a sie which asks me to buy there product. What do I do. Please help?

With those internet sites, obviously don't buy the product. And once you do scan your computer and remove the spyware/adware try to avoid it. Don't open e-mails from unknown sources, go to suspicious sites, click on those pop up ads, etc.
