Why is my computer working so slowly?
Suddenly my laptop is working very slowly. I鈥檝e run some anti-spyware (Microsoft) and virus-scan (Panda software) but I still have the same problem. What can I do? Is it related to eMule? What can I do fix it?

Hi - this may not give you a direct answer or even help much - but I found a great website.
Basically if you bring up Task Manager (normally Ctrl Alt and Delete then click on Task Manager)... and see what is running in the background by going to the process tab....
Often there are things running that shouldn't be, or are running and using lots of memory / CPU time that aren't really needed.

and see what each process is... you may find some obvious ones that can be removed... The website tells you to remove them by using their software... but if you just search for the file that is running on your computer there may be easier ways to stop them.

you could try getting and running a free anti spyware called spybot. Have you defragged your hard drive lately?|||Is your computer uploading stuff to emule without your knowing it? Ctrl Alt Del and sort the processes by memory usage and look things up if you don't know what they are to find out if something is running in the background.
