Avast said panda is a virus? a false positive?
I was trying to use panda online virus scan.
I have avast 4 home 4.
When firefox tried to install the panda activex control to scan avast told me panda scan it's a virus! So I stopped the scan and aborted the activex download.
I'ts a false positive or it's true that panda it's really a virus disguised as antivirus?

It's a false positive. some antivirus such as avast would detect other programs especially an antivirus software as a threat. Avast was once considered to be the "king of false positives" by techs before but now has vastly improved in its detection although there still remains a part of it in detecting false positives.

False Positive, and Avast blames it on Panda.
(The reason sounds logical to me.)
