Gosh everyone is misleading you. Use AD AWARE SE. Its the best out there. But the free version wont offer REAL TIME PROTECTION.

Its the most "effective" of the lot.

mcafee isnt that good, use norton antivirus 2006 it comes with antispyware and it is active protection!!!|||u need more than one , like AD-AWARE SE , and yahoo antispy and windows defender|||nothing gets everything

I use nod 32 as for my anti virus MS anti spy as well as the ones built into zone alarm pro.

between the three I get most everything but new bad stuff comes out everyday. no matter what you choose remember "update, update, update"! I run an in depth scan once a week after the latest update to nod 32 I ran a scan last night and found one hiding the other missed. wasn't a false positive just the virus Sig wasn't in the db until last night. was a polymorphic too!|||[ZONE ALARM] IS THE BEST.
