Hv 2 antivirus and 2 spyware apps. All progs hve auto update. Auto- scan set for different time activation so's not to interfere with one another. O/S is Win2k SP4, cannot update IE6 to IE7 which only use when FFx crashes, and am frustrated. Only seems to happen when in yahoo mail, and think only when replying...need be more mindful when nxt happens.

hmmm... remove one of your antivirus cause it would really conflict with the other... and remove one spyware app too. Even autoscan and activation times aren't the same, the auto-protect feature is the one that would conflict with the other.

You should only run one anti virus as two conflict, so remove one. Then use Ccleaner to uininstall FF and run the Issues tool, then the Cleaner.

Then reinstall FF but make sure oyu only get it from Mozilla.
