I had probs recently with WinAntiVirus Pro 2007 and SpyCrush even though I have current Norton antivirus and firewall as well as Spybot S&D installed and running. Norton says it "blocked" the SpyCrush-- then "resolved" it 8 min. later. I still have this annoying box that keeps popping up asking me if I want to run the program. I can't seem to find the program anywhere-- even in the registry. If I can't find it, I can't remove it. A recent Norton scan (15 minutes ago) is clean. However, Spybot came up with 18 entries (which SHOULD have been blocked)-- I cleared those and re-ran the scan. Clean, no probs noted. Norton didn't even try to block the Win AntiVirus Pro bug and it doesn't even show up on Norton's log-- Spybot found it but couldn't remove it. The pop-up box still shows up. WhatdoIdo?

Hit "Start" and click "Run". Enter "msconfig" (w/out the quotes) and thsi will bring you to the System Configuration Utility Box. Click the Startup Tab, and find in the list of startup programs and files the reference to " http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v393/k... . Uncheck that line so that it will not start up when you boot up. Click apply and Exit. It will ask yo to Restart the PC and do so. See if it pops up again after restarting. If it does, your PC is still infected with the virus. In this case, get a better anti virus program like Kaspersky, Bitdefender or AVG.
