What to do with this eternity slow pc?

I've done everything, except asking here, so maybe someone helps..

I have a Sony VIAO LXV800, have Spybot spyware, AVG & Avast antivirus,have completely restored my system twice, reinstalled Windows XP Professional, scan everything, defragmented, no files, it's just about empty like new and the second I go on the internet > computer starts acting up, gradually won't even open windows, it takes eternity to do anything, constantly freezing up,or opening up thousands of windows.. just don't know what to do anymore.I did check the running programs, really just use the ones that are necessary. I'm fairly sceptical to purchase anything and download and end up with the same problem.. hope someone just knows these things, lol so thought I give it a try here > Thanks :)V.. I have already mailed you, but I will tell you again that never use two anti-viruses together. Keep AVG and uninstall Avast, because the latter eats more resources. SpyBot is not enough for detecting all spyware, get Windows Defender(only for genuine Windows, which you most probably have) in addition to it and scan your computer. Since you say that multiple windows are popping up out of nowhere, it is time you get a firewall. I will recommend Comodo, which is free. If you are not using CCleaner, download it from http://www.ccleaner.com/ and run its 'Cleaner' and 'Issues' section to get rid of all crap. Also, I will suggest downloading the 30-day trial of System Mechanic, it will find and repair errors no other utility can. The 30-day trial should be enough to keep your computer going for about 6 months or so. Internet Explorer is comparatively a slower and more vulnerable browser than Firefox, so you had better use the latter. But always keep IE as your default browser. Keep minimum possible shortcut icons on your desktop. All these should considerably accelerate your computer's speed.
