I have used Trend antivirus for quite a few years and the 2008 had a glitch for me also. What I had to do is remove the antivirus program from ny computer and re-install and haven't had any problems since.

Alternatively... with the disk that you received will be a contact phone number for Trend Micro for tech support. They will talk you through any problems that you have and they don't min as to how many times you do if the problem isn't fixed

Trend Micro sucks. Use AVG, Avast, or Avira for free. They're all much better. If you're going to pay buy NOD32.|||Check for microsoft updates i had a update awhile ago that was to fix some compatibly issues.
