AVG free at www.grisoft.com ( the free version ). Norton used to be a leader, but it fails at time to detect and or remove some virus, and they are a resource hog ( even on burly systems ), some deinstalls and installs can bork a system. McAffee is also slow and occosainlally lets one slip thruoghthe cracks. Every system I have ever worked on I remove either McAfee or Norton and install AVG. not only does it update automatically, there is no yearly subscription to pay for.|||Norton anti-virus.
