connect with the torrent when i try to download. i keep getting an error for both programs saying that they aren't running properly, but they are. is there some security setting that i don't realize is on? is anyone else having problems with vista and these programs?

i run the same operating system and bittorrent works just fine for me didnt have to do anything to it other than download it ..... try a diferent version maybe sometimes it will make a diference

its trying to protect the system. read windows help|||take it back and ask them to un-install Vista (the dog) and install XP SP2|||Comcast traffic blocking: even more apps, groupware clients affected

Comcast isn't the ONLY ISP blocking torrents.
