Dell computer download help?

my dads dell computer had its memory recently deleated and everything is gone (it had a virus). so now things that came with the computer like the DVD player and sound card is missing.

my dad said that somewhere on Dell.com they have these things free if you give them your computers little code thing as proof.

so can you please help me find a free download on dell.com for my dell labtop, i need to find a :

- DVD player

-Sound card

- mircrosoft (optional)

Type in your service tag and it will bring up a list of available downloads, drivers and such.

As for other software, do you still have the dvd's that came w/ the machine? If not, you might have to contact Dell.
