How to download custon firmware to PSP?

I've downloaded the official firmware from playstastion.com. I have 3.51 version. I want to play the ISO and CSO file but I heard that I need custom firmware. How could I download it?

You have to downgrade it first to get the custom firmware. What you need to do is purchase or borrow a Pandora's Battery. That is the only way to downgrade a PSP with a 3.51 firmware version. Use the Pandora's Battery get it to the low version. Then look online, find the custom firmware that you want *there are a couple different ones* and download them and install them onto your PSP. Each one has specific step by step instructions to installing it on your PSP. Usually comes as a txt file with the download.

Just remember by downgrading it you chance bricking your PSP, and if that happens you are pretty much out of luck.

well in order to actually play ISO and CSO files you need to have custom firmaware, and the only way you can do tht is by downgrading to 1.5, and then upgrading to the latest custom firmware. However in your case i beleve you said that you have upgraded to SONY firmware 3.51, good luck trying to find a hack for tht one. If u had not upgraded to 3.51 it might have been easier to find a hack to go back down to 1.5.
