I can't download any songs onto my mp3 player because my windows media player keeps saying erro

i have downloaded all of the songs into my windows media player, they play perfectly fine but when i try to download them onto my mp3 player it keeps saying error occurred but they won't tell me what the error is... can someone PLEASE help me

Are the files in .wma or .wav format? If so, you have to convert the files to mp3 format.
