Is it possible to download Quick time player for MAC on my Windows OS as my friend who has MAC but didn't know how to upgrade or download on his MAC computer.I want to download it on my jump drive and then will give it to him for his Mac computer.Only confused about it because I have Windows OS and he has Mac.Any suggestions?

Yes, it is possible, though Mac OS X comes with Quicktime player already.
Quicktime comes from Apple, so you need to go to the Apple website.

The problem with the way Apple has set up their QuickTime download page is that they set up their website to scan for the web browser you use. With this, they guess what operating system you are using.
Before you begin the download (which will require a user e-mail which can be a dummy account), be sure to check off that you want the OS X version of QuickTime. There is a small radio button on the lower left of that page that allows you to manually select the correct version for your friend's computer.
The download is around 26 megabytes, so it should fit on a flash drive with ease.
