Trying to download Java?

I am trying to download Java from

http://www.java.com/en/

but I keep getting this message:

Windows Installer

This installation package could not be opened. Verify the that package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vender to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.

What can I do about it? How can I fix it? is there another site I can download Java from that may work?
