Cant remove the virus even after format?

Hello I have been infected with a virus from usb drive that disables my task manager and opens my drives in a new windows?I have formatted my C: and reinstalled xp,but still the same problem.I have scanned the whole pc with notron,mcaffee,spyware doctor,adware pro...previx CSI,... formatted and reinstalled xp 3 times...no effect ..please help

I find no logic in what you are saying. If you performed everything that is stated, the virus will no longer be in your system.

Would be a really big help if you were to give me the name of the virus that you have.

Perhaps the virus still remains on your "USB Drive". Example had a problem with a CD I burnt as a backup. When I put the disk in my tray there was a virus on the disk. (And I never had one virus in my PC, when I burnt the disk).

So I threw the CD away.

Wish I could help more, need more info., as the problem is very strange.

did u do a clean install of windows (wipes all data) if so the usb could be infected not many ppl know cds and usbs can have viruses|||More information needed.......
