New computer, with this error when starting up.......HELP!!?
I have this new computer, got in December from ACER. So far has been great, last week, my msn software went to update, and after that it went kinda haywire. I had to unistall the msn software, then reinstall from a disk. Now everything works, however when I start up the computer, an error box comes up that says this...."RTHDCPL.EXE Illegal system DLL relocation.......The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory, The application will not run properly. The relocation occured because the DLL C:\windows\system32\HHCTRL.CX occupied an address range reserved for windows system's DLL's. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL. What does this mean, and how do i fix it ? I have no idea or understanding of what this means!!
I am running Windows XP, have McAffee installed on it, as well as Webroot Spysweeper for MSN (spyware detector). Thank you, for your help in advance!!
