I got a bad download called cursor mania.... I have mcaffee ... and it didnt block it.... do u know what i should do to rid this program /n what it did?? i heard its spyware or adware

Hmm.

Try going to:

Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs

From here, look for that particular program. It might be hidden, but it's worth the shot looking for it. If you find it, click remove.

Also, Mcaffee.. is an okay program. I encourage you to download CCleaner, this basically helps clean your harddrive and any bugs on your computer. I usually do it once daily to keep it clean. Norton Anti-Virus I have found no problems with too. I also have Mcaffee. I'm pretty sure you can look on www.download.com for any virus protection and disk cleaning programs, just becareful and look for ratings. You don't want to download something harmful to your harddrive which could lead to destructive activity, deleting files, etc.

But anyways, try that.. and email me if you have any other problems! Good luck, those things are ridiculous and stupid.|||If you have mcafee updated (the new engines have antispyware) and properly configured then it should remove it. I would suggest you double check your mcafee settings and make sure there is nothing asking you to "fix" a setting and to perform a forced update and then a complete scan with all programs shut down.

You could certainly install something like Spybot S&D bt I would not recommend installing more junk... that's what got ya here :D
