Wireless Networking?
I am using a wireless network, newly connected. We have what is apparently, a neighbors computer showing up on our net.... how can I isolate and eliminate unwanted computers from using our network.
We are using McAffee software including easynetwork, and I don't know how to set up the wireless security since the net is active.
Also, I show that I have a very weak signal to my computer... how can I improve it?

you would have to isolate tha router. call your isp and as them to give you a secured wireless connection...when u scan for wireless networks...it will ask you for a password. or you could just connect to the router directly.

set a password on your wi fi network|||The wireless security settings depends on your wireless access-point brand. In general, you can have the options of enabling the wireless security by choosing WPA or WEP, and then you can key in the "key phrase" (kind of password)
Another setting is to enable the access control list. In this setting, you define only your wireless card MAC address is allowed to get access to your wireless access-point.
Nevertheless, these settings can still be compromise if the "neighbors" is really a cracker.
By default, the settings done on the wireless access-point should have sufficient strength for the signaling, by referring to the guide, maybe you can try the adjust the signal strength
